David is a member of the firm’s business law group. David strives to provide efficient and transparent legal service to clients because he understands that business owners want to focus their time doing what it is they do best without the stress and uncertainty of legal issues hanging over their head.
David is experienced in business and real estate transactions, tax matters, and general corporate law. David also advises clients on a range of intellectual property issues, including trademark clearance and prosecution, intellectual property licensing, non-disclosure and trade secret issues, and copyright matters.
David moved to Oregon from Chicago in high school and has been here since. He earned degrees in Accountancy and Business Administration from Oregon State and earned his law degree from the University of Oregon. David spends the majority of his time off exploring the outdoors through skiing, hiking, and rock climbing. He is most passionate about traveling and is always planning a trip to somewhere new and interesting, while still taking plenty of time to explore Eugene and its beautiful surrounding areas.
